New 3G iphone announced - Apple Iphone Review

Well apple have finally done it.. they’ve added 3G.. and even better.. they’ve reduced the price.. Pinch me.. is it Christmas? We’ll be testing this unit fully when it comes out, but till then it defintely looks to be a great move in the right direction

Other key news:

• They’ve thrownopen the SDK (Software devlopers Kit), so other people can develop iphone apps.
• They’e done something in line with other web developments - look at number of widgets and plugins available for almost every platform

What would make my ideal phone for 2008

My ideal phone would have to be small, functional and future proof, for at least the next 6-12months.

It seems that a new phone is coming out all the time, and while it’s fun keeping up, I must admit that I’d like to get it right .. just this once.

So.. key features:

• email on the move.. - blackberry / iphone?
• music - ipod / sony?
• sms..
• voicemail
• video - recording.. but calling .. not really
• gps.. - yes that would be good.
